When you create a new character, you are automatically given a weapon and a little bit of game money. Before you start your first battle, you must learn to equip your weapon.

Open both the inventory (Tab) and the equipment window (Ctrl + Tab). Click an item in the inventory window and drag it to the appropriate slot in the equipment window to equip the item. Alternatively, you can open the inventory and the equipment window by clicking the menu icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
You cannot equip quick items such as ampoules and ammunitions in the equipment window.
The illustration to the left shows item equipping in order.
Open both the inventory (Tab) and the equipment window (Ctrl + Tab) simultaneously. Click the weapon you wish to equip in the inventory window.

Drag the weapon to the appropriate slot in the equipment window. If you see “able to equip the item" you can equip this item in the slot.
